AutoDevJapan

Terms of Use

Effective and last updated: July 12, 2026

These Terms describe the conditions for using the website and contact function operated by AutoDevJapan (ADJ). Services requiring a separate contract or affirmative consent are governed by the terms presented for that service.

These Terms apply to this website. Separate terms, licences, or agreements for individual products, open-source software, or contracted work take precedence.

  • Comply with applicable law, these Terms, and public order.
  • Minors must obtain guardian consent where legally required.
  • Provide accurate, current information and do not impersonate others.
  • Illegal or criminal conduct; infringement of intellectual property, privacy, reputation, or other rights.
  • False submissions, impersonation, threats, discrimination, harassment, spam, or interference with business.
  • Unauthorised access, improper vulnerability testing, malware, excessive load, or circumvention of technical limits.
  • Unauthorised reproduction, resale, scraping, dataset creation, or AI training, except where law or an express licence permits.
  • Any conduct that disrupts the website or that ADJ reasonably considers improper.

Website text, images, logos, design, and software belong to ADJ or their lawful owners. Except for express open-source licences or other stated terms, no rights are transferred or licensed. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

ADJ does not control or warrant linked websites, including their content, security, availability, or privacy practices. Review each provider's terms.

To the extent permitted by law, ADJ does not warrant accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Product status and specifications may change without notice. Content is not legal, tax, investment, or other professional advice.

ADJ may reasonably modify, suspend, or end all or part of the website, or restrict violating use, for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. ADJ will endeavour to give notice where practicable.

Except for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, ADJ is not liable for indirect, special, consequential, lost-profit, or data-loss damages. For direct ordinary loss caused by ADJ's ordinary negligence, liability is capped at fees paid to ADJ for the directly related service during the preceding 12 months. These limits apply only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer and other laws.

A user who breaches these Terms must resolve resulting claims at their own cost and compensate ADJ for direct ordinary loss caused by the user's intent or negligence.

Users represent that they are not, and will not support or associate with, organised crime or other anti-social forces. ADJ may refuse use immediately upon breach.

ADJ may amend these Terms when an amendment benefits users generally or is reasonable in light of necessity and proportionality. The effective date and content will be announced in advance where required.

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. Delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver.

Japanese law governs. Subject to mandatory law, the Fukuoka District Court or Yukuhashi Summary Court has exclusive first-instance jurisdiction.
